Project context
As part of the development of the surroundings of a new building, HARSCO Environmental is currently involved in the development of parking for users and visitors of the site. The construction site includes: earthworks, platform preparation and road construction necessary for the operation of traffic and parking spaces. This operation is part of a process to develop alternative materials through theuse of steel dairy in the foundation layers of the works.
Project objectives
The project has several objectives:
- create parking spaces adapted to the needs of the site;
- ensuring the sustainability of the platforms circulating;
- integrate materials from steel recovery;
- reducing the use of natural resources;
- to include the site in a circular economy logic.
Nature of work in progress
Work on the new building includes:
- general earthworks;
- the preparation and upgrading of platforms;
