The yard
For 9 months, the old gypsum quarries of the city of Gagny were completed(93). The grouping of the three companies responsible for the work, chose to trust Veolia for the supply of 300,000 tons of B2 sandstone. Qualified for« exceptional by its importance »This is the most significant fill site in Île-de-France. A production rate ensured with the daily supply of 2,500 to 3,000 tons of sandstone from the Val-Pôle Plessis-Gassot quarry.
Results
A large-scale project that has served as a model for future operations on the same issues, contributing to the search for environmentally friendly solutions. Today, the ambition of the commune of Gagny is to create a preserved area so that the fauna and flora can develop there.
