Updating the guide « Environmental Acceptance of Alternative Materials in Road Technology – Environmental Assessment » AFOCO is currently participating in this working group under the joint direction of Cerema and the Directorate General for Risk Prevention.
The importance of revising the guide
This ambitious project aims to revise a repository that was originally published more than 10 years ago, marking a significant step forward in environmental assessment for alternative materials in road technology. A key feature of this updating process is its potential impact on the entire road sector, particularly with regard to the revision of road application guides. The work schedule is particularly demanding, with a planned publication of the revised guide « father » in October 2023 and an ongoing update of the application guides for completion before the end of 2023.
