Contractors, key players in resource circulation
Contractors have a major leverage to accelerate resource savings in the construction sector. From the design of projects to the management of materials from construction and deconstruction operations, their decisions can help to develop the reuse, reuse and exploitation of resources. In practice, however, several obstacles continue to limit the development of these approaches.
Key challenges identified include:
- an exit from the status of waste which is still difficult to develop;
- a still heterogeneous variation of the PEMD diagnostic method by the study offices;
- the classification of large quantities of waste as hazardous, in particular asbestos natural land and, in many cases, leaded metals.
Faced with these challenges, this workshop will be an opportunity to put into perspective the obstacles encountered by the actors on the ground, to share feedback and to collectively explore avenues for improvement.
A workshop bringing together several expertise from the sector
Organised within the framework of the ANDEC 2026, this workshop will bring together representatives of different actors in the sector in order to meet the views and experiences on the conditions necessary for a better flow of resources.
