120 people were gathered, Wednesday 17 June, within the prestigious framework, of the Sofitel de Marseille Vieux Port.
The State Services and Territorial Communities, Producers, Operators and Users, Masters and Entrepreneurs were all represented for a study day in order to discuss the theme « Industrial co-products, innovative material solutions to build ».
Following the introductory speeches by Michel Gitzhofer, President of Afooco, and Didier Jan, CEREMA Director of the Aix-en-Provence laboratory, the presentations followed.
The various stakeholders were able to convince the audience that alternative materials are quality materials developed by competent companies, with strict application of standards and highest respect for the environment.
A panel discussion on the theme « Industry, a growing deposit of alternative materials? » closed this day: the speakers exchanged on the obstacles to the development of the use of alternative materials, the exit from waste status, the extraordinary innovation potential to conclude that Alternative Materials are one of the strong links of the circular economy
At the end of this rich and high-quality day, Michel Gitzhofer, President of Afooco, invited the regional actors (Masters d'oeuvre, Masters d'oeuvre, Entrepreneurs) to no longer be reluctant in the future to privatize THE USE OF ALTERNATIVE MATERIALS OF INDUSTRY CARRIERS.
