Valoref is the leader in recycling glass oven refractories.

Valoref offers a comprehensive and tailor-made waste management service. From the customer's site at the time of repair or demolition of the oven to the manufacture of secondary recycled raw materials mainly for refractory manufacturers and ceramists.

Its facilities classified as environmental protection (ICPE) of Bollene (84), subject to prefectural authorisation, allow it to treat 40,000 tonnes per year of refractory, hazardous and non-dangerous waste.

Its construction, sorting and production teams, high-performance technical capabilities and R&D enable Valoref to improve its quality and volume year after year. The recycling rate now exceeds 85%.

Valoref operates in France and worldwide thanks to its three subsidiaries Valoref Europe, Valoref India and Valoref China and in collaboration with local partners.

Waste is treated in full compliance with EU, national and local waste legislation. Valoref Europe is ISO 9001 certified and ISO 14001 certified.

Valoref is a company of the Saint-Gobain group.

Valoref is an evolving company: over the last 10 years and under the direction of Bruno Dorier, the activity has been extended to the recycling of all technical ceramics and has taken on a global dimension.

The Business Unit Valoref Monde was created in 2022 under the direction of Marie-Alix Bur for support its international expansion: a subsidiary in India has been opened, a subsidiary in China is being opened and an American subsidiary is also being planned. The total workforce will exceed 100.

Valoref Europe, headquartered in Bollène, has seen its workforce increase from 22 to 50 people and activity triple over the last five years. The recent acquisition of Alfaref, a ceramic waste manager in Germany, completes its development.
