Located in Alsace, it is part of the Environment division of the German group GEIGER. Its objective is to: offer reuse, recycling, processing and recovery solutions combining environmental performance, economic efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Committed to the circular economy and the reduction of carbon emissions, the company supports professionals, industry, communities and stakeholders in the construction industry with environmentally friendly solutions. It also invests in research and development to transform waste into resources and foster a more sustainable future.

Areas of expertise and expertise

TERRAG France works throughout the waste management chain, offering innovative solutions adapted to environmental, economic and regulatory challenges. His expertise revolves around three main areas:

  • Waste management, treatment and recovery

As a specialist in industrial waste, construction and urban waste, TERRAG France is implementing efficient sorting, processing and recovery solutions. The aim is to maximize re-use and recycling by promoting a circular approach and reducing the environmental impact of industrial and construction activities.

  • Logistics and distribution

Thanks to complete control of the supply chain, the company ensures the transport, distribution and optimisation of waste flows to the most suitable recovery channels. This approach ensures effective management in accordance with regulatory requirements, while limiting costs and carbon emissions.

  • Environmental, regulatory and technical diagnostics

TERRAG France carries out in-depth studies to characterize waste and identify the best treatment solutions. Its expertise helps to support businesses and communities in their regulatory obligations, ensuring the conformity of sectors and developing strategies adapted to technical and environmental constraints.

Thanks to this combination of expertise, TERRAG France has established itself as a leading player in sustainable waste management, serving professionals, industry and communities.

Alternative materials and their applications

Stationery buds Of brickware
Valorized in the terracotta industry, these sludges are integrated into the brick and tile manufacturing process, contributing to optimized management of natural resources.

Fly ash in soil treatment (upholstery, shape layer)
From thermal power plants, these ash are used for soil improvement, embankment reinforcement and form layering, providing an effective alternative to natural materials.

Ashes in embankment
From incineration, these ash are used in emplacement work, promoting better stability of the works while reducing quarries.

Concrete fluidized bed sand
Residue from fluidized bed combustion processes, this sand is integrated into concrete formulation, thus improving their mechanical and environmental properties.

Fine glass (out of glass manufacture)
Improved in several industrial applications, this fine fraction of glass is used to enrich various materials and reduce the consumption of virgin raw materials.

Cement foundry sand
Derived from the moulding processes, this sand is reused in cement works, participating in the production of more durable cements and limiting the extraction of natural aggregates.

Based on its technical expertise and industrial network, TERRAG France supports its customers in optimizing their waste streams and developing sustainable recovery solutions, reconciling economic performance and environmental sustainability.

Quality and environmental benefits

  • Reduction of the use of noble materials
The integration of ash, foundry sands, glass fines or urban sludge into industrial processes and construction works makes it possible to limit the extraction of natural resources such as sand, clay or aggregates. This helps to preserve deposits and reduce pressure on natural environments.
  • Carbon footprint reduction
By promoting the reuse of industrial materials and optimising their transport and implementation, these solutions limit CO2 emissions from the extraction, processing and transport of raw materials. The use of industrial co-products in concrete, cement or embankments is fully part of a low carbon strategy.
  • Reduction of production costs
Alternative materials offer an economic solution to rising costs of natural raw materials. By integrating high-performance secondary resources into their processes, industrialists and BTP stakeholders are optimising their spending while respecting existing environmental regulations.
With these advantages, TERRAG France supports its customers towards more sustainable solutions, valuing existing materials to build a more environmentally friendly future.

Together, we can create a sustainable future and promote responsible innovation.
